Navigation All Glaciers

From the Port of Punta Bandera, located 47 km from El Calafate, we begin navigation along the North Arm of Lake Argentino. We cross the Devil’s Mouth towards the Upsala Channel to navigate between the large icebergs that break off from the front of the Upsala Glacier. Then, we enter the Spegazzini Channel and moments later we will have the first view of the Seco Glacier. We continue sailing to the front of the Spegazzini Glacier where we will also contemplate the Heim Sur and Peineta glaciers.

We prepare to disembark at La Base Spegazzini and begin the visit to the area by walking through the forest path to the Spegazzini Shelter. This 300-meter trail is accessible and as we walk along it we stop at stations and viewpoints with views of the entire Los Glaciares Bay. At the Refuge we can have lunch (Not included in Standard Cabin), visit the shop or contemplate the landscape. For those who like to walk, you can take the mountain trail. This route is a trekking of medium difficulty through a forested path, with natural viewpoints, full of incredible views that ends at the disembarkation point.

Additionally, to take your experience to another level, during our excursions you can hire the optional Captain’s Club service. Enjoy the preferential location, the exclusive attention of the hosts and bilingual guides (Spanish/English) who will assist you throughout the tour. Includes lunch (appetizer, main and dessert) and open bar for drinks (with and without alcohol) plus cafeteria.

It will be provided at the Spegazzini Shelter. The route may be modified depending on weather and safety conditions and by decision of the boat captain.

We recommend wearing several layers of comfortable clothing, comfortable shoes, a jacket (waterproof if possible), gloves, a hat and a collar or scarf. Water, sunscreen and sunglasses.
